World Chelsea Bun Awards 2025

We were delighted to be sponsored by the World Chelsea Bun Awards again this year – and our Patron Lady Frederick Windsor and our Chairman Munther Haddad were invited to judge the buns during a live tasting.

During the event we were able to show guests the importance of ultrasound vein finders. We want to say a huge thank you to Harvey Phelps from GE who joined us on the day. He brought along a state-of-the-art vein finder which caught the attention of many of the visitors to the Awards. Thankfully on the day no real-life intravenous access was needed but much fun was had demonstrating the machine and teaching guests how to identify veins and arteries while explaining how the machines are used. 

Munther Haddad said: “The Children’s Surgery Foundation is delighted to be associated with the World Chelsea Bun Awards. The quality of the entries was spectacular, and it was fantastic watching everyone learn about their physiology and the role of vein finders in surgery.”
