Children’s Surgery Foundation exists to enhance the experience of children needing surgery in the UK.

Working with the NHS community across the UK, we strive to advance paediatric surgery by investing in vital technologies and related training that make the impact of surgical procedures easier for children, their families and the medical teams who care for them.

We focus our efforts on supporting the services provided by the NHS, and make vital additional resources available to the UK’s 26 dedicated children’s surgical units.

Technology is advancing medicine at a rate never seen before, and at the same time, awareness is growing about options to enhance care. Patients and doctors exist within an environment of potential but face the daily reality of increasingly pressured budgets which restrict the ability to deliver more.  Now is the most urgent time for our children and young people to benefit from the opportunities that science, medicine and excellent medical knowledge can provide to support their health outcomes.
