Vascular Access Training Day

As part of our Beam Campaign, Children’s Surgery Foundation is excited to announce our inaugural Paediatric Vascular Access Training Day on 27 October 2026.

Supported by a fantastic faculty, the day will provide comprehensive coverage of vascular access including neonates, oncology, short bowel and PICU (including ECMO). Our expert faculty will be offering tips and tricks, and sharing lessons learnt from particularly challenging cases.

The all-day session will also provide invaluable insight into establishing a ward-based PICC line service, as well as the holistic experience of oncology patients and their families with respect to the challenges of vascular access. Hands-on, practical training developing ultrasound-guided vascular access will be offered in the afternoon.

To ensure a high faculty to candidate ratio, spaces are strictly limited to 30 places. These will be sold on a first come first served basis – we would advise purchasing tickets ASAP!
