We were delighted to be chosen as one of two charities voted for by the pupils of St Paul’s Cathedral School (SPCS).
The entire school took part in a sponsored walk to raise funds, which has exceeded £1600 to be directed towards our Beam Campaign.
Despite the characteristically dreary weather on the day, spirits were high and the students whooped and cheered one another on throughout, but particularly loudly as the seniors entered the final stretch of their walk.
Helen Ison, CEO at Children’s Surgery Foundation, shared “We are incredibly grateful to the support from SPCS. Their enthusiastic steps will go towards funding another ultrasound vein-finding device and securing another hospital in our drive to provide every specialist paediatric centre in the UK with this technology.”
