Books for the hospital school

Previously the Chelsea Children’s Hospital Charity, we re-launched as The Children’s Surgery Foundation in 2019 to reflect the national scope of our work today. The story below is from our days as the Chelsea Children’s Hospital Charity.

Here are Gaynor and Sonja, teachers at the West Middlesex Hospital School, with books we've donated. They have a very small budget and so we're delighted to help them by providing extra teaching resources like books, games and other basics.

The hospital school helps 600 children every year, from 3 to 16 years old. The fantastic team of four dedicated teachers will teach at a child's bedside if they're not well enough to come to the classroom. We hope the children enjoy the books!
